Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among refugee children in Baghdad and its relationship to behavioral health

Abstract
The present study aimed to detect the pressure of post-traumatic refugee children in the city of Baghdad disorder, and the relationship between post-traumatic mental health disorder, and find out the differences between the children who were exposed to the experiences of shocking, and children who have been exposed to the experiences of shocking evolved to have a post-traumatic mental health level of disorder and find out the differences between children in post-traumatic stress and mental health disorder according to gender, and formed the research sample of 280 boys and girls (141) male (139) females in late childhood were chosen randomly from some of the first grade to the Centers for students refugees in Baghdad.

The dish scale traumatic experiences, prepared by the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme and the measure of post-traumatic stress disorder, which is prepared by Gary Alozar and scale of mental health which is prepared by the researcher after verifying the validity and reliability.

The results indicated:

– A high level of post-traumatic stress disorder among children sample
– The presence of a statistically significant relationship between post-traumatic stress and pressure of their grades in the scale of mental health disorder

– And no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 5% between the scores of children who have been exposed to traumatic experiences and children who have developed expertise shocking to post-traumatic stress disorder for the benefit of children who have developed expertise shocking to post-traumatic stress disorder

– And no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 5% in degrees

– And no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 5% in the grades of children with mental health scale depending on the variable sex in favor of males
