Multiple types of intelligences available to students Faculty of Education at the University of Hama

Research Summary

The research aims to:

1. Multiple patterns of intelligence are known to students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hama.
2. The differences in the availability of multiple intelligence patterns among the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hama are defined according to the gender variable.

In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers followed the analytical descriptive approach to its relevance to the subject of the research and its objectives. A scale of multiple intelligences was constructed as a main tool for collecting data for the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hama, where the research tool was developed based on reviewing the theoretical framework. The items of the questionnaire were classified as follows: the first part of the general information, and the second part consisting of (48) words, divided into eight different intelligences.

The research community included the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hama in the fourth year. The number of students reached 889 students. A random sample of about (20%) of the research community came out, 177 of them (70) Student teacher.

The results of the study showed the following:

Social intelligence, linguistic intelligence, physical intelligence, logical intelligence, natural intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, musical intelligence, visual intelligence.

• Regarding the hypothesis of the research, there were statistically significant differences according to the gender variable, for female students in the social intelligence pattern, the linguistic intelligence pattern, for the male students in the visual intelligence pattern, and the logical intelligence pattern.
