The concept of citizenship among students of the internal departments of the University of Technology

Abstract:

The research aims to identify the level of the concept of citizenship among the students of the internal departments at the University of Technology. The researchers adopted a special questionnaire on the concept of citizenship Applied to a sample of students of the internal sections of the University of Technology amounted to (125) students. The results of the study revealed that there are high positive levels the study also highlighted the concept of citizenship (its basic levels, rights and duties) and the role played by the university in developing the sense of citizenship with its students. The research came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions that develop the sense of citizenship among students.
